Today I am going to search out my phone cable so I can charge my mobile off my work PC (instead of at home) also can use it to take & upload ebay photos instead of our camera that eats batteries
    Make more home-made cards
Make hubby a birthday cake instead of buying one
Make another batch of handmade jewellery for my next ebay sesh
Nag hubby to set up s/o for the credit card rather than letting the company only take the minimum amount

  • In my house the opposite is true! I could easily de-clutter on my own. Same goes for housework - last night DH came home from 4 days away and this morning the living room looks like a bomb's hit it and there's a dirty saucepan in my lovely clean sink

Well I am hoping the fact that I won't be on Skype chatting to him will give me some extra time to do it in the evening. Not sure how much of a useful contribution he will be. ;) I am trying to be ruthless and he's philosophy is you never know when you might need it! If we just manage to get rid of the boxes under our bed I'll be happy. :D

  • Hello!

Well so far today I have...

Earned £10 from Magpie (absolutely pants amounts for most of the stuff which is annoying, but I checked against going prices on Ebay and nothing is selling there anyway...)

Done survey for a measly 50p (woohoo).

    Turned the heating off.

Baked a cake as a thank you present for a neighbour.

Finally got my son to pay me £30 back pay for his mobile phone contract!

I still have left to do...

Put casserole in the slow cooker. Leftover bits n bobs which hopefully will taste like a gastonomic delight ;)

Wash some undies by hand to save putting a load in the machine.

Just little things, but I guess it all counts. I can't wait for Friday (payday) is every day this week has to be a no spend day, which is evil considering it is half term and I would love to take the kids somewhere!
If I had a pound for every...... oh sod it, if I just had a pound I'd be richer!

Hello all! Im back from a lovely week in America visiting family, and am now happily back but of course skint for whats left of the month.

DNMS - I forget when your trip to Morocco is / was? I thought of you today while I was reading the news.

    Today I:
    • made appointment to cut off my hair (selling it to a wig maker) and picked a short style I like
    • will unpack and do laundry
    • check online banking and asses damage from the trip!
    • meal plan for the week
    • make dinner from HM pizza dough in freezer
    • start on my friends wedding present as I dont have much time!
    • wash the fruits of my ah-mai-zing charity shop run in NYC - I am now the proud owner of 4 stunning dresses and a posh tartan top
    • write my auntie a thank you note (very MSE as who knows what a hotel in San Francisco would have cost me if I hadnt stayed with her!!)
    • enjoy having the rest of the day off work!
    Mortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000
:DDebt free as of 1 October, 2010:D
Taking my frugal life on the road!

Happy Monday all, really enjoying life at the moment.

    Today have:
-Brought my delivery from milk and more inside (£10 of free groceries)
-Transfered money from paypal too my account for ebay items.

    Today I will:
    - Check mystery shopper sites for any new assignments
    - Sort through the rest of my junk ready to post up on ebay on Thursday.
    - Breakfast and lunch provided by work
    - Gym after work (making use of £14.99 a month)
    - Then I was planning soup for dinner, but may go for scrambled eggs or a bacon sarnie now my delivery arrived.

    Have a good one y'all!

Checked the mystery shopper site. Managed to get one for when i'm in London on a training course. And another two shops booked for the same day, so gives me a day out shopping, but it's not going to cost anything in the long run.
    Current Debt: 0%.
    Current House Deposit: 7%.
