la redoute delivery problems

Hi, any one else having problems in manchester trying to order from la redoute, so far there are 3 people who cant get orders through?

does any one have this?

    i'm in london and i've been having a nightmare with this site, i've tried ordering 3 times this week with no success, the site is sooo slow since they updated it

    The la redoute website is one of the worst I have come across and I live in Inverness Scotland. It is always coming up error try again. They changed the site about 4 wks ago and DON'T even try to order after 9pm as they close down I was told. Also don't know if it is related but tiscali broadband is cack today. Never got on the computer til after mid day.

  • Be careful with your orders. I tried ordering something about a week or so back and it kept getting stuck on final page (before you review/confirm) your order so I gave up. A few days later I tried again and managed to place my order.

    Turns out though that it had somehow accepted my first order so I've ended up with two orders. I'm not that bothered as I don't mind two of them and they're good value but others may wish to be extra careful.

    I think their whole business system is awful. The website often fails (for me, especially when I add things to the basket and then clicking on check out - then my basket strangely because empty!), you can't cancel once you've made the order, an order with many items gets delivered in stages, they only deliver to credit card address, you try and arrange re-delivery with the courier company and they show up on a different day to the agreed one (I called on Monday to redeliver something for Wednesday, and waited all day for it. In the end I was told that the courier had already delivered it the day before when someone in my block of flats let him in.... and the goods? who knows!).
    Does the management need a kick in the backside to get their heads out of the sand and realise that this is no way to run a business???

    Once you have placed your orders, using the multitude of vouchers
    they very rarely cancel..last night at 10pm there was a knock at the door, and a delivery man wanted to deliver my gloves from La Redoute
    were 7.99 cost to me 64p, today they emailed to say the second part of my order was on its way some pyjamas were 8.99 my price £4.99, only a 36p shirt to come now.

    I'm waiting for my order since 4 weeks.... Already received my statement though with the product listed, lol. Will wait another week and give them a ring.
    Rent, Council Tax, Electricity, Gas, Telephone, TV License, Food, Clothing, VAT, Parking, Congestion Charge....... Thank you God you gave us MARTIN :money: :money: :money: !!!

    I had trouble last week, not happened before, but my order wasn't showing so I did it again, and now they are all showing up as due to be delivered. one order was going to have been postage only, and one three pounds or so, and they have taken 50p from my bank account. my courier turns up at all hours too, but is a lovely friendly lady who jokes about how much I get!!
  • Ever worse..I ordered last week. They processed the same order twice & hence charged me twice (including delivery). Has anybody had this?

    I sent an email to Customer services but no response since 3 days.

    I wish I'd seen this thread before. I ordered an item on 20th November and have been told three times when I've emailed to find out where it is "what another 13 days". What is it with the thirteen days rubbish? Phoned customer services and they were no better. Just told me to be patient!!! What a cheek!

    I can't wait any longer in case it doesn't turn up, so got to go out and find the item in the shops - it was for my husband and I was ordering it for my mother-in-law. She's been chewing my ear off constantly about it and fretting she won't have anything

    Just had a look at some of the reviews for the company online and they are awful - and most of them related to very slow delivery. If I'd known how bad they are at delivery I wouldn't have bothered. Certainly not going to again.

  • I made two different orders 3 weeks ago. Both orders went through ok & I even got an email order confirmation for both orders.Both orders were supposed to be delivered within 10 days. They never turned up. I contacted La Redoute to find out why. Customer Services informed me that they have no records of my two orders. Am I missing something?:confused:

    Well I can't complain too much I've had a lot of feebies from them:rotfl:
