As it's wipe clean material try using a bit of biological washing powder mixed in hot water, scrub it and then let it air dry. The bio powder will dissolve any smells as well as stains.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Gotta ask ... what's a Bumbo?0

As you can see its a seat - designed for babies. Its a sort of sort rubbery material that is quite heavy (so stable) and it grips their legs so helps hold them upright. They originated in South Africa but are becoming quite popular - expensive when new they wear well and are worth a look if you see one secondhand (and have kids that age!). We got a SH one and have had a fair bit of use out of it.
As for the original question - I've heard that vinegar is a good way of getting rid of smoke smells - it will smell of vinegar initially but that smell is goes whereas the smoke hangs around. Rinsing it off after a while will help as wellAdventure before Dementia!0 -

I would just use hot soapy water with a sponge or a good old microfibre cloth, they do clean up very easily.

I'd try Bicarbonate of soda mixed with hot water into a paste leave for an hour or so and then rinse off.

I use our bumbo as a feeding chair and it's always getting soggy food ground into it. I usually pop it in the bath and sit my daughter in it when I wash her hair- this way she feels secure, the soap doesn't get in her eyes and the seat comes up lovely and clean!0

The bumbos are very cool!
To get rid of the smokey smell, I agree that either vinegar or baking soda should help.... make sure you rinse it very well after though! For normal clean up, just a damp cloth should do the trick
