Moving outside drains?

I need to move part my private drains from outside my house. The drain is probably only 12 yards in length. At the moment it sits parrallel with the back of the house, about 6 yards out from the back door.

I want to move them closer to the house so that the drain is 2 yards from the back door.

Does anyone know how much a builder would charge to do the work?

The reason i need to move is that the ground 6 yards from the back door is subsiding and i need to move the drains to the stable ground

Yours is one of those piece of string questions. GSI for a site survey and a quote...could be a very expensive job especially with subsidence thrown in to boot.

Do you know why the ground is subsiding ? Could it be the drain which is causing it ??
