We have just had first couple of vouchers come through the tills at work.
Think I had better tell all the staff about them now.If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550 -
Looking at the main thread on this deal, I think a lot have gone all out to get the deals, even if they don't really like what they have bought( in my case- Baileys!:rotfl:) I also note a lot of negativity about tescos. I have a feeling when this offer closes many will slate tescos and yet will have made a fortune from them. I think we need to remember this and appreciate the deal they gave us while it lasted.
If the price checker is down so that tescos can price match more then surely we are winning anyway?
I have done 2 shops which were completely DTD items. I think I will mix up my next shop and add items I want to buy anyway but which price match more or less with asda. If we all did that there is less evidence of abuse of the system. However, is it actually abuse if you are just buying the best deals and sticking to the £100 a month max?
I wonder if the price match is down to put off the savvy shoppers until tescos actually trains up their till assistants? Let's face it, there are posts here about vouchers being used without the receipt being looked at. This is a huge mistake on tescos part.
Finally, i submitted a receipt for a large shop done before I had twigged to the promotion. It came back as tesco being cheaper by £6. Everything on the list was accounted for. So really, from my point of my view and with the shopping I do, I am reassured that tesco is in line with asda price wise, which is something asda keeps telling us is not the case.
Let's make the most of it while it lasts but please lets not be two faced about it when the deal ends- assuming they honour promises up till then. It's nice while it lasts.weight loss target 23lbs/49lb0 -

This is very true, but now the price checker is down it actually means tescos can picka nd choose what they want to be comparable0 -

there is a very simple way tesco could stop people doing one shop then doing all their other shops with DTD vouchers £20 cash -> £20 voucher (No.1) ->£20 voucher (No.2) with lists like: pringles, milkybar cow, cheese, honey loops, multigrain start, muller light x2, dolmio.
all they have to do is say if you have a voucher you must spend double it's value to use it,
so £10 need to spend £20, £22.56 need to spend £25.12
then they could scrap the £100/10 voucher limit as they would not need it anymore.0 -

hmm... wouldn't work so well... you would just have to spend a bit more cash but you'd still get lots of things free and could just use the "spare" vochers for your normal shop0 -
and anyway, why would you want them to cotton up the nice promotion they are doing? :P0

Just got back from tesco, bought Black Tower Pinot Grigio x 6 (the La Gioiosa was oos) cost £34.74, 5% multibuy discount £1.74.
Paid with a £22 voucher (server had no idea about the voucher, and neither did the floor manager!) So paid £11 cash and i expect a voucher for £20ish! :beer:0 -
Hi all,
I seem to have "lost" the search box on tesco price check website?
If anybody knows the page that it's on, would they please post a link to the page where it's at, thanks.0 -
oops, reading back i can see now that other people have the same problem, so no worries. Hope it's back soon.
Has anybody phoned tesco to ask about it?0
