Does anyone know if you can use in store to pay for something from tesco direct? It doesn't say you can't on the voucher but just asked in store as was told by a dismissive sales assistant that I could "with one of them" !

The T&Cs suggest not but it depends how you interpret them, and what Tesco meant...:

    20. Price Check vouchers can be redeemed either in store or against an online Grocery order, irrespective of whether the original purchase was made in store or online.

Did anyone see Lorraine on GMTV this morning. There was a preview of Martins' slot tomorrow, and he said 'Get 6 free bottles of wine', but did not say how. Do you think he will be talking about DTD, and the Banrock (even tho it's expired). I see it was not in his weekly e-mail (even tho it was a couple of weeks ago, but did not catch on), so wondering how long this will go under the radar.

When you by wine by the case no doubt. They were(not sure if still are) doing by a case, get a case free. It was still pretty expensive wine!

When will this tesco/asda clash end? Banrock offer expires 19th april...

Lol, I spent £110.08 last night and got my voucher for £109.16 this morning... I also got a little carried away. Posts on here have confirmed that people have managed to get over £100... I'm working on the theory that if they send a voucher worth over £100 then the store should have no right to refuse it, but this is Tesco so you never know
It might be worth using it sooner rather than later in case they start clamping down on it. Remember your average person doesn't read all the small print so if they tried to tell me they couldn't do it when I got to the till I would have an almighty row with them!

I also reckon it's worth thinking about which Tesco you redeem it at if you have more than one nearby... we have one store where the staff try every trick possible to not let you get a bargain/discount/DTD etc but another one within a mile where the staff get excited when they see someone get a bargain... I'll be using mine at the latter ;)

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Sometimes I just can't believe Tesco  Did a shop in store on Sunday, which got me a voucher, then an online shop that was delivered today. Driver did not have a clue what to do with the voucher. He had never seen one and even worse he had never heard anything about them. He did try scanning it but it came up as unrecognised.

I phoned Tesco online who said I could only use it instore, as the shopping had been done instore. Fair enough, although it doesn't seem to say that on their website.

I did ask what would happen if I got one from my online shop, as the delivery driver didn't know what he was doing and she said she would speak to the store manager, but wait for it....

She thought it was highly unlikely I would get one from an online shop, as it was not included and I would not get double the difference!!! Do Tesco train their staff at all?

I might just end up moving to Asda when this offer is over.

Ok, can anyone help me with this one? I want to buy a bottle of Jamesons Whiskey, but just went on the Asda website and saw this. Can anyone clarify how I stand if I get a bottle today from Tesco, as from the link below I am not sure if it is £12.00 or £10.00 per bottle at Asda. Does the price change at Asda tomorrow and when will Tesco work out my DTD from?: http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/banneroffers/banneroffercontainer.jsp?listId=1215007433069
forget about the banner ad then can be wrong when the large easter eggs went to 3 for £10 a few days after they stopped selling them for £2, the £2 each banner was still around.

just add one to your asda trolley and look at that price as that is the one tesco will use.

Have Tesco moved the link to the pricechecker from the homepage of their website?

Have they finally realised that they are more expensive than Asda in a lot of cases?

edited to add - found it at the top of their page.
