is greenwick worth a visit

hi all
going to O2 tomorrow with my lad
is greenwick worth a visit to fill the rest of the day
my lad is 12 yrs old and active lad
so want something that he can be part of

If you mean Greenwich, the district, National Maritime Museum (http://www.nmm.ac.uk/) and Obervatory are definitely worth a visit. I was impressed at how family friendly the MO is.... Check activities and offers in advance... Also the park is worth exploring... Would recommend a Spring or Summer visit for the best experience.

and of course the Cutty Sark , not sure what you can see but the restoration in well under way and they are putting bits back

was thinking of taking him under the thames via the foot tunnel near there
never been that side of river
we are coming down from notts
