Natwest has filed a defence

Hello! Has anyone been in the same position? I'm claimimg against Natwest and they are filing a defence and I'm due to get a date to go to Court. Half of me is angry about all this (they've had thousands in charges over the years from me), the other bit of me is scared stiff about all the awful, imcomprehensible Solicitors forms they keep sending me. I've filled in the Court's questionnaire and now am waiting.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Suzi.

Yes Suzi im in the same situation with Barclays but i have had a letter from the court (well a order) to state why "Set out the legal basis for this claim that these charges are unfair and unjust" and they want loads more information to, me personally dont know what to say or put, thinking sod it:confused:
  • They are effectively asking for information under CPR part 18. This is not applicable in 'small claim' actions.

However, if your Particulars of Claim were not fully explanatory then you might have some problems. Perhaps you could start a new thread and list exactly what you put, rather than continuing the conversation in here???
