feeling very down

:(:( Just feeling sorry for myself I guess but nothing in my life seems to change owever hard I try to make it and I end up feeling worse than ever, can't see a light at the end of the tunnel. No one seems to really care about me that much I feel as if I'm looking out for everyone else all the time and noone seems to notice whemn I'm feeling low. Have been trying to alter my circumstances by studying etc but often wonder why I'm doing it - i'm 46 I think maybe I've left it too late. Very little money, so very few options regarding the getting out and about I want to do. Just not sure if I'm depressed or not - I heard that being strong for too long often leads to this - and thats what I've been I sort all of our ltd budget out cos I'm good at that and partner isn't but he can just opt put of everything knowing I'l pick up the pieces I feel the buck stops with me. But lately I'm scared that one day I'm gonna fall to ;pieces:(

No love you won't fall completely to pieces.
You are 46 and maybe getting to the stage where you suddenly realise you can stand up for yourself and ask others for help.
Believe me.. when you reach 50 plus it comes naturally without feeling guilty

Do you mean medical help or help at home? I do have help in that I give partner and children that are at home jobs to do, but no one ever seems to offer much help or notice that I'm feeling low. The few friends I have make the right noises at times but when it comes down to it they're not really there for me. Feel very lonely most of the tim e.
