The hard top on my car needs a few touch ups. I have bought a Mazda touch up kit, but am wondering the best method to gain the best results.
Any advice or recommendations appreciated.

Take it to a body shop. 99.99999% of home touchups stick out like a sore thumb and on a roof they'd be highly noticable.0

Can't afford the body shop at the moment.
I would leave the chips, but the white primer is showing underneath & the car is british racing green. So they stand out.
There isn't much to be done & they are close to the edge of the roof.0 -
Usual advice is to ditch the brush that comes with the kit and use a very very fine artist's paintbrush to do it
Never attempted it myself though0 -
Yes I won't be using the brush that comes with the kit.0

Oh and build up in layers, don't put a big blob on at once

At least if you get some paint on it's less likely to rust as well.0 -
