Personally, I never reheat pasta as it takes longer to reheat than it does to cook it fresh/dried.....pasta tends to go big and floppy when you let it absorb all the moisture from sauces. I'd just pop the sauce in a fridge or freezer and whilst it is reheating, cook the pasta alongside it.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0

You could freeze it with the pasta but I would just freeze the sauce and cook the pasta and pop it in the fridge and then when you need it just put it in boiling water to refresh it, then add sauce which you could defrost in the microwave (if you have one). Pasta will be fine for a week in the fridge.

can you freeze cooked pasta should help if you want to maybe freeze it? I;m sure the fridge would be fine although ir ecently made double mac cheese and it wasn't as nice reheated from the fridge
Maybe i made the sauce too thick. ?
Carbonara recipes and questions also suggests you can refridgerate it as well - ill merge this later on

A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

I freeze carbonara including pasta and it comes out lovely.
Sometimes reheated pasta needs a little moisture added as it continues to absorb the liquid when stored, but when frozen it seems to be fine.

I hink it's better to just freeze the sauce as I find when I freeze pasta in sauce it is very dry when reheated.

Zippy chick, I've never managed to get mac cheese nice after reheating either
Always dry and weird.
Shame as it's the perfect ready meal!0
