Benefit payment dates over Christmas

Hi all :)

Had a look on the DWP website but can't find the answer, and I have a phobia of telephones so I can't ring, so I thought I'd ask here.

We have all our benefits due to be paid on Christmas and Boxing day (IS, CB, CTC, DLA & CA) and I just wanted to check they'd all be paid on the Friday before like last year.

Thanks :)

If it's a Bank Holiday then it will be paid early, if it isn't then it will be just paid as normal. ( I don't think the Wednesday is a Bank Holiday)
One day I might be more organised...........

( I don't think the Wednesday is a Bank Holiday) There is usually a notice in your local Post Office aswell. Saying this check with your bank if they payments are not in when you expect them as I have known them to mess Xmas early payments up with friends of mine.

Any payments due on 25th or 26th december will be payed on friday 22nd december, any payments due on 1st january, will be payed on friday 29th december, so dont forget you will have to stretch your money for a couple of extra days.
