Tommee Tippee Sangenic vs Sangenic Hygiene Plus

Options
Hi does anyone use the Tommee Tippee Sangenic hygiene plus nappy wrapper cassettes with the Tommee Tippee Sangenic bin, i.e. not the hypiene plus bin? I've got the Sangenic bin and am looking to buy the cassettes for it but it appears there is a Sangenic hygiene plus cassette on the market which is cheaper than the one that doesn't say plus, and I'm hoping it will still work. I've tried the various kids accessories sites but they don't explain the difference if there is one.
The reason people don't move right down inside the carriage is that there's nothing to hold onto when you're in the middle.

  • I think it's a one size fits all. They used to come in 3 different colours, but all I ever see now are the green ones.

    Total waste of money IMO - just pop nappies in a bag and sling in the bin - take out to the outside bin each evening or each time you go out. Simple and MUCH cheaper :)

    Those bins just take up space and encourage you to leave stinky nappies in the bin until its full - I know, I had one for DS1... Didn't bother for twins :)
  • I agree with frugal.

    We wrap each nappy in a tesco value nappy bag, 9p per 100 and sling them in a normal bin in the nursery, bin gets emptied every night.

    My SIL has the tommy tippee thing but only because she was given it and says she wouldn't pay for one and would have done what we do if it hadn't have been free.

  • when I had DS which was 3 years ago and im currently expecting again (big smiles) there was a coupon in your Bounty pack in hospital for a free one of these to pick up from Argos
    Mad Mum to 3 wonderful children, 2 foster kittens and 2 big fat cats that never made it to a new home!
    Aiming to loose 56 pounds this year. Total to date 44.5 pounds 12.5 to go. Slimming World Rocks!

    To be honest we got the coupon too and decided not to bother as when we changed nephews nappies it seemed more of a fiddle than just chucking it in the normal bin in the nursery, fiddling about with a lid and doing the twisty thing whilst keeping an eye on a wiggly baby.

    Plus because they kind of squish and store a few days worth of nappies I don't get how this is "nicer" than sticking them in a nappy bag and emptying the bin every day.

    Some stuff can just be an invention too far and for me this is one of those things.

    The OP asked a very specific question and the only answers they get is peoples opinions about the use of the products? Perhaps you should read the post again, it was;

    not;
    HI! I USE NAPPY BINS, WHAT'S YOUR OPINION OF THESE BECAUSE I AM REALLY GOING TO THROW MINE AWAY IF YOU THINK THEY ARE A WASTE OF MONEY/EFFORT

    Some people post for the sake of posting ...

    Back to the topic; OP, usually these things are produced specifically so that they won't fit other models etc, all in aid of making money. The only advice I can give is to find a cheap one (maybe ebay?) and try it.
