Cheap broadband installation

Hi, my friend lives in a new development of flats in an area that seems like it only has broadband with BT. They have told him to install broadband will be £120.00 even with a years subscription, I was just wondering if anybody knew how to get this cheap, or any other providers available in his area?

    Check local availablilty at this website. A BT line does not limit you to BT as your ISP.

    i never wanted high speeds just good bb so i went for aol 1mb, initially they were charging me 14.99 but i read in some threads that haggle with them and they give you this for 9.99 and thats what i did. now im paying 9.99 a month. i do p2p and regular xbox live player, i havent have any problems as yet.bt has been always expensive.
