I have a lot of old LP's which were my Dads from the 60's and 70's. Does anyone know of anywhere where we can sell them, other than e-bay?
Thank you for any suggestions.

I sold all mine as job-lot to the organiser of record fairs. They buy wholesale to parcel out to dealers. Got fed up after nothing sold on Ebay.0

Be sure to do some research first to make sure there aren't any rare (read valuable) ones among them first.

I would check ebays completed items. If it doesn't sell for £1 then car boot them, but if its worth a bit more get them ready for the next free listing day and sell them then. If you don't sell them at least you have not wasted your listing fee. Listing fees for records is 10p.
Make sure you describe them carefully
Bear in mind that some records are worth a lot of money, I sold one recently for over £100 and lots sell for over £20 especially Rock0 -
How about Discogs? http://www.discogs.com/
You can use it to check on values and it can also be used to sell records. I believe it's fixed prices rather than auction and that, like ebay, they take a cut of the selling price but there's no charge to list. People can add items to their want list so you can also check how in demand something is.0 -
With zero listing fees and with 6%-8% as the selling fee, it's cheaper than ebay. It seems an ideal way to offload my collection of 1980s 12" singles ... but is there a catch? (Other than it might take some months to sell some items?)How about Discogs? http://www.discogs.com/
