My company has agreed to let me use a leased company car for a while whilst my private car is out of action. I have been using LLoyds TSB for the past three months, paying on a monthly basis. I rang today to renew the policy as it runs out midnight tonight and they said they wont do it as it is a company car and I'm not the named keeper!!!
Does anyone know of an insurance company that will insue me for a month as this is when the lease runs out??
Thanks

Is it not insured by your employer anyway as a leased company car?0

Thanks for all your thoughts.
As it only has a month left on the lease, I don't really want to pay 2 months as a deposit and then cancellation charges on top which would amount to about £150 anyway just for a months insurance.
Our company policy is that each individual pays for their own insurance and as such the car is not insured by my employer.
My problem now is also that Lloyds have been charging me for 6 weeks insurance and I wasn't actually insured!!! Not worth the paper is written on!! Any ideas what I can do regards to selling me something I'm not allowed?Made it - 15 years married!! Finally!! xx:beer:0 -
