TomTom

Bought a TomTom last summer. Had a problem with the sim card last winter, rang them up and they gave me a solution which worked. Fast forward two months and the sim card stopped working so I got traffic direction but not the updates I paid for.

Rang them up. Was told to log it online in my account. I did so. Got a reply by the next day. They sent a post paid packet to me, I sent off the TomTom with the receipt. Got it back 3 days later repaired and as good as new.

I usually hate call centres/online complaints procedures.

This worked brilliantly well. TomTom customer service responsed immediately, showed genuine concern and were completely professional.

I am delighted with the service I have received from them. Thanks TomTom.

    I had a problem with my Tom Tom and the Irish call centre were the most disinterested bunch around. I actually felt sorry that I'd impeded on their miserable lives. So I looked online and found that lots of people ring Tom Tom in the Netherlands where most of them speak good English and actually give a monkeys.
