obviously my instinct is to go with the cheaper and saving me more money - ist utility but with the standing charge doesn't that make it more expensive but with a higher rate of saving and i don;t really know alot about this company or then go with edf online saver

What actual kWh figures are you entering?

And what area are you in?
In my area, Hydro Electric, EDF is the cheapest for my usage, it may not be the cheapest in your area. 4200 kWh electricity, 19500 kWh gas.

And it is the same no matter what comparison site I use.

The issue appears to be with FU iSave7 is that the discount of 11% (or £100 per fuel max) for dual fuel is only paid in the 13th month, and so is not included by some sites as it falls outside the automatic right to it within 12 months.

There may also be a possibility that some sites, whilst including the discount, do not limit this to £100 for gas but allow the full 11% (which will probably be worth more than £100)

With regards to standing charge or no standing charge tariffs it doesn't matter too much (since you are presumably over the tier 1 threshold in all chargeable quarters) - the total annual price is what it will cost

Edit: You've just changed your units consumed?

It was gas 35820 and electric 3582. Now you have to re-do the comparison as all annual prices will be different to that posted in post#1... and you may get different cheapest tariffs.

The standing charge is neither here nor there. Other companies simply higher the rate of the first few khw instead. But having said that I wouldn't use FU as they have a poor repuation.
