Argos !!!

I placed an order on their website Sunday evening for just over £100 (to get my voucher) and including a vtech product that had 25% off at the time. When I placed my order it said thank-you blah de blah, sorry we can not send you a confirmation email at the moment. I thought ok, no problem. Yesterday I wait in all day (including getting a housesitter whilst picking the children up) and no delivery. I email them and they say, sorry but your order didn't go through and can I re-order at my convenience!!! Now, i'll miss out on the item reduced and my voucher. There was no problem with my debit card and plenty enough funds in there to pay for it. Am really annoyed!!!!! I've used Argos loads of times for home delivery and never had any problems before, i'll be interested to see if they actually reply.

edit: forgot to say, but when I placed my order I checked my bank and it appeared that the debit card had been debited (the available balance went down accordingly), I check this morning and the available balance has gone back up, suggesting to me that they initially took the money but then cancelled it ???

    I ordered something from Argos a couple of weeks ago, I won't bore you with the long and the short of it, but basically they overcharged us and failed to deliver. Weeks on now we've managed to get the price down, but they still haven't delivered a part of the order. Not overly impressed.

    Yes, all of the items (6) are still in stock for home delivery, what really annoys me is that 1 item that was reduced is now back up to full price and i've missed out on my voucher. I guess because you can't see a transaction on your bank until it's fully gone through I have no proof that they took the money and then put it back in without honouring the order.
