I have been searching for a domain/business name but they all seem to be registered and there are only a few.co.uk avalible. Most people use a search engine like google to find sites. I do - I never bother guessing the website name since google is so good.
There's loads of naff name extensions like .tv and .waffle or whatever.
.co.uk and or .com are the best IMO, though the exact site name doesn't bother me too much.
