LMAO @ Gallygirl :rotfl:
Katsu - it was frozen mince. £2 a bag. Made from Soyaprotein instead of mycoprotein. Not sure I like it much. Will cover it in cajun seasoning or something and have with pasta tonight/until further notice...mmm. In the olden, non MSE days, it would be in the bin by now!
MFW thing today - Eon customer service made steam come out my ears on Friday. They have still not phoned back to resolve the problem, so today I switched to Scottish Power. A two winter fix for only £3 a month more (Martin :money: reckons Eon will hike their prices in January anyway) plus up to £42 quidco plus I have a £116 credit with Eon which they should refund me.0 -
Today's offerings -
Cheap tea - pastie (whoopsied) and baked beans. I go swimming on a Monday so don't have a big meal, normally 'something' with beans.
Found 5p in the pool !
Found another 5p in Aldi earlier on. Got some warm socks in their hiking promotion which I may also use for cycling to work when it gets a bit colder.
Packed lunch done for the morning including a piece of home made fruit loaf mmm.#39 - Save £12k in 20250 -

- Not so MSE but good deed for the day was going to Poundland for stuff for my Operation Christmas Child shoebox. Brantano gave me a free shoebox as I don't have one. I've done it for the last 3 or 4 years now and now it's possible to find out where the shoeboxes go. Last year mine went to Bosnia#39 - Save £12k in 20250 -
My weekend so far:
* parked in free parking when I went to town (had to sit in car and wait for the time I was allowed to park on single yellow lines)

* fuelled up at Mr M due to cheap prices
* stripped bed and put bedding out on the line in the wind - pretty much dried for freeDebt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -
Today I've linked my ebay and nectar accounts so I will always get nectar points for shopping there. I have made a test purchase after linking by going via TCB too - I can't see why they wouldn't stack up :TDebt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0
