As per the title really, how do you do it? OH's A701A sounds rough at low speed and sounds like it needs oiling.

Maybe you could ask on the old style thread as I remember seeing some threads there about Kenwoods. Sorry don't have time to do a search just now.0

Dunno peter, but I bought some oil for my shredder, which works with a lot of things , can't remember at the mo where I bought it from but it will come back to me when OH stops playing games on the main PC. The shredder I got was a Swordfish, so first I ill see if I can find the supplier on google, cos I got the oil for free

I can get the oil OK as its a non toxic food safe type but its where to stick it is the problem. No rude answers please.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

My father was crazy about Kenwood Chefs - he worked as a baker in his early life. I can remember him pulling apart a 1960s vintage Kenwood Chef, making new cogs and then packing the entire assembly in grease.
He must have been pretty convinced that the grease would not leak out as the slightest amount of grease absolutely destroys royal icing.0
