In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. Were these comments/notes ON the inventory?

Yes, they were all on the copy of the inventory that I signed, and I have a scanned copy of it.

He has previously claimed that the LA had also signed it before me, but that is a lie, and I have a scanned copy that only has my signature on it (with all the notes about the condition).

The latest that I have heard from him is that he wishes to pursue the matter through the courts. I am not sure if he is trying it on, because prior to me telling him that I disputed the items, he was happy to go through the DPS.

He seems to be suggesting that he will put in a full claim with the DPS, and then try to sue me for the remainder.

If he wants to sue me, is he able to use the DPS at all? I understood that he had to choose one or the other (I don't mind which, because I am happy with my position).

I will give the DPS a call on Monday to clarify, but any assistance in the meantime would be appreciated.
