Cheap train travel?

i have a course in leeds coming up on the 3rd of april, i cant drive, so i was wondering what the best thing i could do, any sort of rail cards valid for unlimited free travel for a one up feee? 6 weeks ill neeed to commute and only in the week, please help! =D thanks

Where are you travelling from?

Season tickets are available for pretty much every short and medium distance train journey there is, plus a fair few long distance ones too. They are available for period of a week, month or year, plus there are 'odd period' tickets available for any periods of longer than a month up to 40 weeks (beyond which an annual season ticket would be issued).

Yes, the cheapest way to get from <Unknown station> to Leeds is likely to be a combination of tickets, splitting at similarly unknown stations.

Once at Leeds, are you staying somewhere near Leeds for 6 weeks? You could get a MetroCard

However as we have no clue what your journey requirements are, providing further info is impossible.
