    Hey

Hope you are feeling better x

I have made a note of the dentist date and will badger you...although I haven't been myself for 11 years! New years resolution! :rotfl:

So did you find anything for eBay when tidying the bedroom? This is the question....

I tried to nab a free pizza but the site wasnt having any of it...maybe it was a sign I eat too much...However! In m*rrissons they had Chicago take away stuff crust pizza with a voucher where you send the receipt and voucher off and you get the price off the pizza back... Well be rude not too...

Thanks for promising to badger me :o. I don't know what it is with me. I've had so many medical procedures done over the years (trust me, having an IV line fitted is not a pleasant experience), but when it comes to my teeth, I can't bare anyone touching them. I think it's because I can't see what they're doing. I'm just going to have to grit my teeth and get it over and done with (excuse the awful pun!).

I don't have anything to eBay really. I got a bit disenchanted with it when they restricted what I could list for some reason.

The pizza site was quite slow when I did it too. I'm off to Tesco later to get that and my free packet of Walkers crisps :).

Thanks for the link Emz :A

I was the same and avoided the dentist for about 10 years and then even when I first went back I took my Mum, although now I go on my own. Would it help if you took someone with you?

I'm booked in at the hospital to have my wisdom teeth removed on the 17th and am really scared too, so we can maybe help each other :)

Aw Beccie, I hope all goes well on the 17th. I've got the hospital on the 18th.

I think I will go on my own, then if I freak out, at least there won't be anyone around to witness it. I went to a dentist about a year ago, but she was a locum and she was just awful. She was so rude and totally not understanding that I was scared stiff. She said back then that I needed fillings, so God only knows what I need doing now :(.

Just come back from Tesco and spent £11.76:

    £10.01 - petrol
    £0.55 - bread
£1.20 - a Playmobil mother and baby with a pushchair. It was reduced from £2.47, so I will put it away for a stocking filler for my niece.

Got the free pizza and crisps. The pizza is in the oven now as I'm hungry :o.

Going for 2 NSDs tomorrow and Friday.

You can get some dentists who have a mirror on an arm so you can see. One dentist I went to had a chromed light which you could see well enough in.

Theres not much to see, an open mouth, a tiny ring of teeth and about 26 fingers...

Try getting them to talk through what they're going to do, so you're not caught by surprise each time.

Thanks ZTD, I will see how it goes next month. I usually ask dentists to have a system where I can raise my hand and they stop what they are doing. Especially if I feel a cough coming on. Nothing worse than a coughing fit when someone is playing around with your teeth .

Slept a bit better last night. Was coughing a bit at first, but eventually managed to get to sleep.

Was going to do the living room today, but OH has said he is going to his parents at the weekend, so I will clean that and the kitchen on Saturday.

Planning on having an NSD today. Really need to pick up my prescription too. Getting low on my Creon, and if they run out I won't be able to eat .

Just wandered over to the disability board. I knew that they were cutting back on DLA and they are changing it to PIP or something in 2013/14. Some people over there have had their higher rate mobility taken away and I think I would have to go for a medical when they change it.

Just panicked me a bit as it has always been hard to get DLA for people with Cystic Fibrosis because it's quite an unpredictable illness and it's very up and down in terms of how I feel day to day. It just got me thinking, what if they took my car away from me? I really need to get myself in a better financial position, as there is no way that I would be able to buy myself a car at the moment.

Fortunately, I am getting a new car next year, before they bring in the changes, so I imagine that if they did take my mobility away, then I would have that car for at least 2 years out of the 3. That would take me up to 2014, so my long-term goal has to be to get myself in a much better financial position before then, just in case I find myself without a car.

Just redeemed for a £5 Amazon voucher on BP. Also, did a survey earlier which means that I can redeem for a £10 voucher, although they haven't credited the points to me yet. That will mean I can get another Christmas present for my niece :T.
