Yup, I always fill it right up from the amber-light-of-imminent-doom.

It usually lasts a month, but this lot only lasted about a fortnight...

I am going to do it one day and see how long a full tank lasts me.

  • I budget for two tanks a month, I have a toy car so £40 fills it up. I get around 270-300 miles per tank. I use fuelly to keep track of what I am using etc. Now if my tank was bigger I could put the whole £80 in at once :o

I have never only just put £10 in as I learn't with Mum. It's a waste of money as it doen's take you far whereas a whole tank you feel you are getting more for your money :D

Em, can you not use paypal to buy amazon vouchers? If you need someone to list some ;)

    Hi Pap :D

I really wish I could fill my tank up, but I always only seem to have £10 here and there to use for petrol. I think I'm rich if I put £20 in!! :)

I don't think you can use Paypal to buy vouchers directly from Amazon, but there are always people listing them on eBay which is what I was what I was going to buy. Is there another way then? :o

It probably won't last as long as you think. Some part of the extra fuel is consumed hauling the extra fuel around, and since your car will be heavier, you'll accelerate harder to compensate.

That doesn't sound like a good day off - going to the dentist :(. I think you should spend the day sleeping instead :D

I don't mind that bit as it's just the check-up. It's the next bit I'm not looking forward to as I don't think I can put off having my wisdom teeth out any longer :(

Ouch :( - I'm going to have to get work done when I go to the dentist, but I'm hoping it will just be fillings.

2 good night's sleep in a row - I'm just not used to this :).

Got my DLA this morning, but most of it has already gone. Out of £74, I've paid my mum's phone bill (£25), petrol from yesterday (£10), minimum payment on my mum's Halifax card (£9 - usually pay a bit more but wanted to leave myself with some money) and money in my uncle's birthday card (£10). So I'm left with £20 for the next week. I've got to get some shopping today so have allocated £10 for that so I'm going to see how long I can go without dipping into my last £10.

No bids or watchers on my eBay stuff yet. I know, I'm impatient!!
