Hi guys,
I failed my second IB assessment a while ago. I am appealing the decision on many grounds, but i would like get get a copy of the report for my first assessment, which i passed. I have sent them a letter requesting the information under the data protection act. I didnt send it recorded delivery, which i now know was completely stupid of me, and i never heard anything back. I then sent a fax asking them the same thing and asked them to confirm in writing that they received the fax. One week on and i haven't received any confirmation. My representative phoned them and they said they would ring him back...surprise, surprise they never rang him. Im getting really sick of this now, so i want to send a letter recorded delivery asking them for the information they have on my first appeal. I also want to threaten them that if they dont fulfil my request, and they are legally obliged to, then i will report them to the relevant association/body/department whatever. My question is this: who would i report failing to provide information under the data protection act to?
Thanks.

The Information Commissioner's Office handle complaints to do with the Data Protection Act but you will need to have gone through the DWP's own complaints process and found no resolution before the ICO will look at it.
