Don't the post office do simple savings accounts anymore?

I just checked with the T&Cs of my mother's Co-Operative members' savings account and it does allow cash deposits at a Post Office.
Here is the page which mentions the account but the link to Co-Operative bank is broken/missing, it is only £1 to join Co-Op if necessary.

I would expect that the Smart Saver account previously mentioned allows cash deposits but you should check first.
I now starting to believe that these accounts may be the only savings accounts of their kind and will become even more useful if banks continue closing branches in small towns (even though the interest rate is currently low).0
