Caveat Emptor - Buyer Beware

I ordered a genius 4 step ladder from a firm called "Easylife - lifestyle solutions" on 3/01/2011 and was subsequently charged for it on 28th January.Goodness knows why it took so long - almost a month - to transact as they seemed to be peddling a superfast service. They claimed that they had sent it out on that date - when I rang to enquire where it was. They said it must have got lost by Royal Mail so claimed they would send out a replacement.

When THAT did not arrive I rang again. This time they said that they Royal Mail have a backlog so it may take a while. So much for next day delivery, eh?

Today - 6 weeks since I originally ordered!! - I noted on their Google advert that they are advertising the IDENTICAL step ladder for £10 less than I paid, promising 3 day delivery but saying that due to overwhelming demand they are out of stock until 14 March 2011, so one must preorder to get one.

I reckon they have been out of stock all these weeks and have lied through their teeth to keep my money in THEIR bank account.

Caveat emptor. Avoid this firm like the plague - or be prepared to be messed about, lied to and charged for stuff you may never receive

Oh look, it's happened to somebody else......

I would be suspicious of any company that has the word lifestyle in its name.
