    dont go.

if he was a fx master he would spend his time trading not teaching.
  • Hi Trophy 97
He claims to have made $50m for bank and companies he has worked for. The seminars are hosted by Wealth Training LLp a verified company in London.

    Thamks for reply

  • Ahh... Forex, my favourite subject... :)

Lost £3k in about 10 minutes with this, took me two years to get it back.

Anyone can make £1,200 a week in forex, providing you start with about £100,000....

Realistically, starting from zero, you will make zilch. If you are interested in Forex, and I still trade most days, go to www (dot) babypips (dot) com.

Do their whole Forex University course and then open up a micro trading account with £500 or so, trading 10c a pip. After you have been wiped out a couple of times, you will get the hang of it. Then you will at least know what you are talking about and can spend £179 on a seminar with a realistic chance of understanding what is going on.

Never bet against the trend and swallow your losses and move on, the two best bits of Forex advice.

The thing about Forex is you must know your indicators, must be able to read graphs and candle patterns and must watch out for news, which can change the market in seconds.

By all means spend £179 on a seminar, but before you do, learn about your subject first so you get the most out of it.

I day trade forex in a very small way. Target 10% growth a month on a micro account and never trade on Mondays or Fridays.
  • Thank you, this sounds like very good advice to me. However, he does state that you don't have to have any experience in forex, just follow a number of steps that he shows you over the two days and that there are currency pairs that have proved to be indiactors.
I think I need to educate myself a bit more and you have given me a bit of a start.

    Thanks again.

Being cynical, I would say if he required previous knowledge, he would probably cut down on his recruitment pool...:)

Being practical, by all means go but the better educated you are, the more you will get. £179 for two days sounds like a good deal, just avoid the £5k ones!!

Its always good to get opinion and advice.

Ahhhhhh. another of those threads created by new members using full and real names, asking questions about hedge fund managers or forex gurus who, when told they're not a good idea, immediately reply back suggesting their references are impeccable.

You guys are just not very bright, are you?

Why pay when there are plenty of FREE seminars and workshops available that won't cost you a penny:

London Investor Show: Forex 25 Feb 2011 - to get free entry and free workshop, use voucher code: timetotrade

Traders Expo: 8-9 April 2011 - free (no voucher code needed)

  • LOL... :)

I love it when the old boys get their knickers in a twist, just because someone new is on asking for some advice or, God forbid, offering some help.

Old crusties rules of forum posting - applies to all forums, not just this one....

1, Read every single previous post on the forum before asking a question
2, You have to be polite, I can be both rude and patronising
3, It doesn't matter how useful your thoughts are, unless you have 1,000 previous posts, keep them to yourself
4, My posts are always useful, even if I have no clue what I am talking about
5, I exist to make smart arsed comments and put people down, so they leave and my mates and I can carry on as before

(Note any reference to old or age in this context, describes time on the board, not actual age....)
