The ts&cs are a bit naughty, and slightly dubious legally.

They really should charge you the price as advertised on the day you ordered a la amazon.
The word is BOUGHT, not BROUGHT.
    It's LOSE, NOT LOOSE.

Or send you a cancellation of your order email, due to being out of stock a la amazon :D

Good luck but I've a horrible feeling that this will cost you £66.24.

Well it came up in the shopping list as a shade over £6 so I don't think so.

The reason why I am unlikely to get it is that the next delivery is next Wednesday (the ASDA near us is woefully under-resourced in the delivery department) by which time the 'mistake' will have been noted and rectified.
  • If of course the delivery invoice is more expensive than you thought, you tell the spotty delivery guy to take it back to the store - refuse delivery - problem solved :D

Can't help thinking that we've got a one-way ticket to Mispriceville here...

    Still I've ordered four cases!

btw, while I am at it, can I just point out the utter, utter stupidity of 'organic alcoholic drinks'? Alcohol is a poisonous substance which is much more toxic than any pesticide residue will every be. Drinking organic alcohol is NOT going to save your heart or your liver.

It still has less horrible stuff in it than other drinks, so is still better for you than most other stuff,, the alcohol is just a bonus ;)

  • Just got my delivery - I ordered 12 units at 12x330ml - received 12x330ml only. Rang the helpdesk and thay agreed it was not my fault. They agreed to charge just £1.38 for the bottles delivered and I agreed not to pursue them for the other 132 bottles! Seemed a resonable compromise to me as I dont know what I would have done with 144 bottles anyway.
  • My delivery is in the morning, can't decide whether to cancel lagers or wait it out...errrm

  • I finally received mine yesterday, five bottles instead of five cases. We phoned the Asda helpline and without any fuss refunded the cost price (£6.90).

So, several customer-service Brownie points to Asda (Amazon, you might like to take note). FWIW the beer isn't very good and certainly isn't worth £1.38 a bottle.
