12 bottles of organic lager for £1.38 @ Asda

From HotUKDeals:

asda are doing 12 330ml bottles of lammsbrau organic lager for £1.38 according to their website.

Lammsbrau Organic Lager is the name, clearly states 12x330ml on their website...

  • Can't help thinking that we've got a one-way ticket to Mispriceville here...

    Still I've ordered four cases!

btw, while I am at it, can I just point out the utter, utter stupidity of 'organic alcoholic drinks'? Alcohol is a poisonous substance which is much more toxic than any pesticide residue will every be. Drinking organic alcohol is NOT going to save your heart or your liver.
  • If you look at their full range of beers you can see the price is actually per bottle and that there is an error stating 12 bottles

Good luck but I've a horrible feeling that this will cost you £66.24.
    Can I help?

ah, but the unit price is £0.04 per litre, i.e 13.2p a bottle!

There must be something in that

  • I've ordered some - it would be rude not to really at that price. Just hope they arrive before they figure out the problem.

But at that price it could save your overdraft ;)

So how is 4p a litre correct for 13.2p for a 330ml bottle ?

Hope you don't work in a petrol station ;)
  • I've ordered it and printed the page showing 12 bottles at £1.38 = 0.4p per litre. Hope that's what I get!
