Can I still reclaim PPI?

On looking through my wife's CC statements to reclaim unfair charges I have noticed she has been paying PPI. She never asked for this and was not informed about it.

How far back can I claim for these payments?

Is it guaranteed to be refunded?

Hope MSE can help me and my wife.

    Hiya

I would still give it a go, its known that many have made successful reclaims from maybe late 2000's.

If you believe this was mis sold, then there is no harm in trying.

Just follow the link to the reclaiming questionnaire below, stage one, complete and send to the head office of whom set up the account, or the complaints dept if they have one.
Remember to keep copies in case you need to refer back to this again at some point.
They have 8 weeks but may ask for more time.
    Hope this helps, good luck.;)

  • Thanks, I think I will at least have a go. Only will cost the price of stamps I guess.

We have a lot of missing information though, for example dates, charges and any paperwork actually relating to the PPI, just credit card statements which show they are charging for it. Is this a problem?

It should not be a problem, as long as you have the account number they will check all details out, good luck.;)
