Motability, Advance payment

Hi Folks,
Have been awarded higher rate mobility and have a query about the "Advance Payment" part of the Motability scheme for cars
This payment, lets say it is £250, how often does it have to be paid? Is it a one off payment (of £250) to the dealer for the car or do you have to pay this sum every week, month, 3 month, annually etc?

You pay it when you pick the car up, in one payment.0

as above its a one off,also look out for some dealers offering cash back0
