Accurate Roll Cutting

Any suggestions for cutting a 44 inch wide by 30 feet roll of material into 3 13 inch wide strips?

Near the start of the roll pull a few threads from the width. This will tell you how straight the fabric is. Then measure 13 inches and do the same. Check the distance the other end of your pulled threads if also 13 inches you cut along where you pulled the threads out. Repeat as required.

However if it is canvas or similar, a long ruler and tailors chalk is needed.

Just re-read your post. If you need the whole roll cutting up you will just have to start at one edge and keep measuring your 13 inches from the side as you cut. Repeat the other side then for the piece left over remove the remaining excess the same way.

You could cut to 14 inches then this allows for a hem on one side of the outside cuts and 2 hems on the middle piece.

It is canvas photo roll paper and 13 inches is the size for the printer
