Gm Card Says No Way

Have asked The GM Card to refund charges and been told no chance. I am about to write threatening legal action but would love to hear from anyone who has beaten them first. I am with the GM Card which is part of HFC Bank and I think its going to be a nightmare trying to beat them. WHAT SHOULD I DO???? I am only asking for £450 so I dont no what the problem is. I am asking for them to refund late payment charges and would also like to no if this is acceptable. HELP. HELP. HELP.

  • why will it be a nightmare?

If you follow the instructions, you will almost certainly get your money back. Ignore anything they say unless it is an offer of a full and unconditional refund.

They'll say no in the hope you cave in, roll over and forget about it. Send the letters as per, and proceed to legal stages and you will get them back. Just make sure you don't need the card as it probably be closed afterwards
  • Did you use the template letters? Did they provide you with a list of charges, or had you kept all your records? I've written to GM today, and I won't give up. Lots of people have had 'no way' letters. Let's face it, if 50% of people give up when they get that letter - it's worth their while!

You be the sticker, and hang on in there.
