HI, I think i was misold a PPi when I took out a loan with the Halifax. Can anyone offer any advice or let me know of their experiences?

Hello there

May I ask what reasons you have for believing you were mis sold the PPI?

I have had several successess in making a reclaim on the PPI, for example one of them was being sold PPI when I was only then receiving my childrens benefits, so where-as I would not be eligible to make a claim for unemployment, sickness etc.

Have you also checked Martin's information as added on link below that gives more details and idea on this product, with the reclaiming questionnaire, this replaced the template letter on this site.

Complete and sent to whoever responsible for setting up your loan account with ppi, if they have a complaints dept send to them or the head office.
Keep copies of everything as well in case you need to refer to this case again at some point.
The normal timescale is that of 8 weeks, but more time may be requested, they should let you know in writing.
