How do I start a campaign to persuade Wickes that an over 60's discount card is a good idea? Both B and Q and Focus already do one.

Nope age should not be a factor for getting a discount
If you want a discount shop at B and Q and Focus then problem solved0 -
wickes is far cheaper than the other two anyways. esp focus and homebase.Get some gorm.0

B & Q and Focus have huge margins on their products. Much higher than Wickes. Therefore thay can afford to offer 10%. Wickes is a priced much lower - often lower than B & Q with their discount so it amazes me that pensioners still prefewr to go to B & Q on a Wednesday.
Also, Wickes is more focused towards trade. So if they offered 10% on a Wednesday, every builder, plumber and electrician would take their granny along with them to get the discount.
Can't see it happening.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
