I would think you may indeed have a knock on the door.

If you joke about a bomb at an airport you get arrrested - expect similar treatment - in this day and age it is no joking matter.

It's actually more to do with governments and militaries rather than terrorists, there's also questions about medical equipment and nuclear power plants, if I recall correctly - it's in the standard Apple EULA at least.

Basically, they don't want to get sued if the computer fails in a situation that can cause death

(although Dell are one of the major suppliers of PCs to the US Military, I believe)
