  • We offered on a WHB house. It was turned down, like you the first offer we got the official form the 2nd offer I'm not convinced that it was even passed on. We walked away. The house was eventually moved to a different agent where it sold quite quickly at a price below what we offered. We had a cash buyer for our house so were in a strong position. The house had been on the market about a year before we made our offers and completed about 6 months after.

    I think WHB over price the properties because in the area we were looking they all seem to hang around for ages and yet shift quite quickly for other agents.
  • Thanks. Sounds like a similar pattern to us then! I think it might have already been on with another agent before them but not 100 per cent sure. Anyway I'll see how it goes!
