I would not expect much more. opinions4u's post on this thread is spot on IMO, and I think £250 would be the upper limit.
As an aside, my complaint to Otelo and the ICO involved a more serious breach of DPA that involved a 3rd party contacting me from information passed on without my knowledge. The ombudsman proposed £200 in compensation in that case, along with (more importantly) a signed document by the 3rd party that the information would not be "used" and the data recovered and destroyed by the company at fault.Anything I post is my opinion, so from time to time I may be wrong. I try to provide answers based in fact, however I don't know everything, so (like all posters on MSE), take what I say with a pinch of salt.0 -

Iris Blue - if they have given me a 'VERY' good apology amount, then i will give you that amount and in exchange give me ur banking details along with three of ur bank statements.
Deal or no Deal?
They MAY have been disclosed to someone, they may not.
My work recently lost staff wage slips that were sent through RM , obviously with data on , we never got a penny compensation on the "what if " it had fallen in the wrong hands and to be honest I wouldn't expect it. What happened happened.
I agree with what you're saying and so do others , it's the wanting more part I don't agree with. I'm sorry but I think it's greedy and I think it's time to let it go.
Ps It's a no deal - sorry! lolI can't be bothered updating this anymore0
