childcare vouchers

hi MSE forum users.
Im in a pickel, ive just heard about childcare voucher and know nothing about them, but my nursery has just demanded that we set up a direct debit for our fees or use nursery vouchers.
We currently pay our fees every 4 weeks when we get paid and our fees are £455 per month.
But due to other parents paying late or not paying at all, they have insisted that we either pay by direct debit or vouchers.
We receive tax credits at the minute and dont know anything, or what to do. im presuming that we wont be able to get these vouchers and tax credits at the same time (although it would be lovely!) can anyone suggest ideas or where i can find some honest advise on this please. Also is it means tested?

many thanks
