PURINA (felix) - Competition winner but no prize!

Sorry, originally put this on wrong board so have copied here to pets!
I won a competition with Purina and sent them my winning entry almost a month ago - I haven't heard a bean from them. I sent it Special delivery. When I rang them to ask what's happening they said they use another company to run their competitions and they would get someone to call me - that was 2 weeks ago now. I rang again and the girl made me feel like I was being a nuisane and just tole me to wait - so much for customer service.
I have emailed them 3 days ago and NO REPLY.
What a disappointment.

Does anyone have any ideas where I go from here? I take in rescue cats and kittens so this prize money was earmarked for them. I spend hundreds of pounds a year on feeding all the cats.
Purina know this because I put that information with my winning ticket.

Thanks

To be honest,I wouldn't know where to start but maybe some of the chaps on Purrs would be able to advise better.
Good luck & thanks for caring for the Furbabes!..

The ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) should definitely be able to help.

    Their website is here

    http://www.asa.org.uk/

and you can log the complaint online.

When I failed to receive a competition prize a couple of years ago, the ASA sorted it very efficiently.

    Good luck

Last time I won a competition from Purina, I won 2 months supply of cat food.

It took them 2 1/2 months after I was told I had won to receive my prize even though they said within 30 days.

Thank you so much for these replies - at least I know purina are super slow and where to go if they don't cough up!

    Grateful purrs x
