Fri: Pork & Sweet Chilli Sausages, Mash, Braised Red Cabbage and Gravy
Sat: [STRIKE]Lemon Pepper Chicken, Rice & Veggies[/STRIKE] Round at Friends House
    Sun: Eat at DH's parents
    Mon: Seafood Paella
Tues: DH = Pizza; Me = out using 20% off voucher
Wed: Roast Lamb with all the trimmings

I know you are having flat bread on a Wednesday night, so maybe not practical, but I have a recipe for flat bread which tastes wonderful if you want it.... Jx

Ooh, yes please! As you say, it might not be practical for Wednesday's meal, but I'm sure I'll find a gap in my meal plan soon for some nice HM flat bread. :)
Back after a very long break!

stuck to meal plan last week, we are all off this week so know that my meal plans will go to haywire as the weather will dictate what we do when.

I have decided for this week to have a list of meals and then choose from these during the week.

    Choices are:
    Chicken fajitas, quorn for me
Spaghetti and meatballs, WW for me with salad
Gammon joint with veg and roasties, WW for me with the veg
Leek and gammon pie with veg, another WW for me with veg
fish, chips and mushy peas (home made) I will just have the fish and peas

Lunch will be HM pizza, sandwiches with tuna or cheese, soup

Breakfast will be toast, malt loaf, cereal, cereal bar and fruit

I will bake some cakes/flapjacks today and maybe some more during the week as more gets eaten during school holidays.

We will be eating out twice this week as we are having a trip to the shops and also eating out local to celebrate DS birthday, this was a while ago but have never got around to going and he has reminded me that I owe him this promise
  • Did well last week and stuck to plan. Evening meals all sorted for next week, but not sure about lunches as I'm off for half term with the boys. I expect lunches will be sarnies/jackets for them and salads/soups/jackets for me (as I'm trying to avoid wheat this week). Also a couple of vege meals this week, after the meat overload last week :rotfl:

Mon: Vegetable crispbakes (ood in freezer :o) chips & beans.
Tues: Jacket potatoes, cheese & beans/tuna mayo
Weds: Lamb cutlets, potatoes & green veg
Thurs: Spagetti & meatballs, hm garlic bread
Fri: Chicken in white wine sauce & rice
Sat: Lamb donner kebabs (frozen from last month)
    Sun: Roast Beef dinner

Have a good week everyone x

Spent far too much on the internet yesterday :o due to hormones I think, so it's going to be a really cheap week for us, mainly from the freezer.

Monday – Fish, chips & peas
Tuesday – Pasta in tomato & cream sauce
    Wednesday – Beef casserole
Thursday – Red lentil, chickpea & Chilli soup
    Friday - Swedish meatballs
Saturday – Scampi, chips & peas
    Sunday – Spaghetti bolognaise

Looks like I'll hardly be cooking at all this week :jwhich is very nice as it's half term :)
