are there any high street banks with euro accounts?(not off-shore)need to bring money back to uk,but then intend touring europe at later date,but dont want to keep money in spain.

Any bank will let you open a Euro account. It may not be free though, so I would suggest you ring up a few banks and ask.0

Unfortunately for OP all high street banks offering Euro accounts are based offshore - Other than Citibank I do not know of any bank whereby you can deposit and withdraw Euro bank notes.Any bank will let you open a Euro account.
