I was told to ring jobcentreplus for a job application pack. They want my work history and I was claiming benefits while studying at university, I know it's wrong but I had to survive. My question is if I ring the jobcentreplus and they ask me about my work/educational history if I tell them the truth that I have a degree would they be able to see from the computer that I was also claiming benefits during that period? The adviser my go "oops seems like from 2005-2008 you were claiming benefits in our computer system, how on earth were you studying for a degree and if you were you were not eligible for benefits, it's benefit fraud" ??? Help?? or should I skip that job because of this hassle?

So did I and my friends at uni, we did so through loans and part-time work, not ripping off the taxpayer.
Hope you get caught and punished.0 -
