  • Picked mine up this pm. Wanted one for ages now! Thanks OP.

Be aware though that it is excluded from the standard 30 day money back guarantee and can ONLY be returned if its faulty - as told to me by the cashier upon collection! (I think it also says this on the web page too though)

Looks lovely - great screen images - havent noticed sound to be a problem (as others have mentioned in reviews etc) - off to have a play with it and see what it can do!

    V Happy!
  • Picked up my daughter's today. Good bit of kit for the price and who cares if its got Xp instead of Windows 7. I'd rather pay £50 less than the new model.

If anyone else has struggled like me to find a wireless network, use Function and F11 together and it will search for it.
  • I bought one about 1 month ago and it a great netbook. Upgraded the memory by adding a DDR3 module ( 1Gb) from Crucial for £9-99. Windows 7 ultimate and it plays Divx films with no problem and a 5 hour battery life

If you don't use them for a while the wireless and webcam tend to switch themselves off and you will have to hit the function key and the relevant F key to switch them back on when you start up, doesn't seem to happen if you are using them daily.

I bought these for my kids the Christmas before last (14 months ago), @ £199 each, they have been used continuously since, they are great if you are looking for something for a younger child, quite sturdy compared to some netbooks.

Do you have a link for this at all? I think I want to do the same!

    Thanks

    Thanks

    just a quickie..

although most of us here are probably computer savvy and can build/repair computers, msi have a warranty sticker over one of the main screws to open up and add ram etc, undoing this voids the warranty

not that that will bother most of us...
Even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day, and for once I'm inclined to believe Withnail is right. We are indeed drifting into the arena of the unwell.

Excellent price for a 10" netbook with a 4400 mAh battery.
I bet you could buy these and sell them on for a profit on amazon/ebay.

It having XP is a plus IMO; Windows 7 Starter is so deprived of features as to be useless.

Unfortunately I can't find any stores (near, or far!) that have the white, black or pink in-stock :(

For those lucky enough to find stock, don't forget cashback - quidco give 1.5% for all sales.

Not sure of your location but noticed a pink one on the shelf of the Argos store in Durham City centre this afternoon.

Cheers, should be useful to someone.
Unfortunately not for me, as Durham is ~150mi away ;)
