Myself and a handful of other employees are being made redundant on the 14th March. Our boss got his dates wrong originally (on purpose?) - giving us 2 weeks less notice than we were entitled to. We asked him in writing to revise the redundancy letter and severance pay, and to have it to us in writing by the end of (last) week. So far, nothing. I know the letters have been written, just not given out. I don't know what he's trying to achieve. So we need the proof for claims for mortgage payments, council tax etc. There's no union or anything here. What can I do next? He's potentially putting us in (more) financial difficulties.

You need more info. Are you saying he did not include all the notice pay according to your contract? Has he stated that he will be paying in lieu of notice or are you currently working notice? Is it that your termination date will mean that you are short on working your notice so are being paid part?0

First we were leaving on 28/2. Now we 'assume' we're going on 14/3.
But we need this in writing. I don't think we can go on 28/2 and get PILON. He's a tightwad, and will wring everything out of us he can.0
