Kat21.
You brighten my day with your illuminating posts.
I had long suspected that Woby_Tide, oldwiring, cheghead, & tripled, were share- owning Capitalists living off the fat of the land and out to crush the working classes and you have confirmed it with your insight.
It is disgraceful that they haven’t declared their interest in money grabbing firms like Ebico – they might be non-profit making, but only because that lot cream off all the profits first. Shame on them!!
Keep up the good work.0 -
I work for powergen and can't see what your really going on about - Really if there reading both at the same time it makes logical sense.
Some people just moan about anything really.0 -
I am with Kat21 on this.
If the lady wants her bills staggered as she always has then she shouldnt be forced to change. Esp as diff companies supply her.
Suggest meter reader can read both meters together, one bill sent other staggered to arrive some weeks later ,either estimated taking into account meter readers visit or consumers own reading.
Cost of meter reading then reduced, customer happy also.

Sorry that didn't actually put on what I was trying to say -
As you have pointed out it costs the company money to send out a meter reader - Therefore that cost would be put into your overall costs -
Powergen normally in the example your using would take both reading together but estimate on top of the the DC reading -
But this does seem to be a general moan really.0 -

kat21 wrote:It would seem from the amount of posts here that you all have a vested interest. To be honest I think this site has become infiltrated by either share holders or dishonest people whom have a vested interest in trying to convince the status quo,
to be honest I think you're a completely paranoid nutjob and it's unsurprising the meter reader wants to visit you as little as possible. I'd hazard a guess that no-one on this thread who offered advice worked for the power companies or had a vested interest in anything but trying to work out what your issues were and why, in fairness, they don't impact the majority of consumers.
But it's not worth going into details as seeing as people have had the gall to disagree with you are evidently wrong in your eyes.0 -
Heaven help if something really bad happens. Like going to British Gas..he he!0

As usual an assumption on a message board is so wrong in my case.
Working class and redundant next week. I only praise Ebico as they offer the best money saving deal for my needs. This is a money saving not whinge about everything site after all!0 -

I hope you are referring to Kate21's assumption and didn't take my post seriously.
Kat21 couldn't possibly have been serious - so I answered in the same vein.0
