New Career?

Options
Hi,

I am getting made redundant in approximately 2 years time and will obviously need a new job. The good thing is I have 2 years to plan/train to do whatever I want. Bad thing is, I dont know what I want to do.
I can spend about 2 grand on whatever training I want aswell.
What ideas do people have for a new career?
I quite enjoy working on the computer (excel, word, etc) and am pretty good at what I do. Was thinking of doing one of the Microsoft courses, but people say it is a hard career path to take and not much money to start. I also like the idea of creating/running web pages. Or maybe something more to do with building/repairing PC's, etc.
Really, all ideas are welcome (even considered and ruled out becoming a pilot).

Just report it as spam. I have reported another identical post from another poster in a different thread. Now spammed this one too.

The problem with the Microsoft Certifications for Office (both MOS and MCAS) is that they are at a pretty basic level and while they may get you in the door they won't help much in a career imo.

If you want to get into IT you might want to think about doing a SQL course or if you want to get into IT and make a decent wage, Business Objects.

    Hope that helps

    Thanks for response.
Yes, from what I'e read and been told I agree about the MOS and MCAS. I was more thinking of MCSA/MCSE?
I'll have a look at the others you suggested.
